Film Services: Retouching
Digital retouching offers many advantages over traditional negative retouching and artwork. Digital combines high quality with a low price. Because blending or positive artwork is not required with digital negative retouching the cost does not vary per negative when ordering one print or one hundred. We will only accept digital retouching orders when accompanied by a minimum print order. Digital retouching is separated into three categories:
BASIC
softens facial lines & eye bags, and removes blemishes. (Basic retouching available for group photos of 4 or more people)
softens/removes facial lines, eye bags, rough skin, and removes heavy blemishes and facial scars. Moles and freckles removed UPON REQUEST ONLY.
Single Head Additional Heads
EXTENSIVE
softens/removes facial lines, heavy eye bags, facial scars, age spots, double chins and neck lines. Moles and freckles removed UPON REQUEST ONLY.

*To ensure quality, we automatically upgrade retouch service levels when an incorrect request is apparent.
All 2? negatives must be mounted in a crop card; 35mm should be left in strips of 4 (an individual 35mm neg. must be carded).
Glass glare can be removed if at least 75% of the iris is unaffected. Other charges include removing braces, adding or removing catch lights, enhancing eyes, toning facial shine, removing eyeglass shadows and refraction's, whitening teeth, or eliminating small objects from background.
If digital retouching is not required on all negatives from one order, the digital negatives should be separated as to expedite the order.
All this information is provided for you on the glassine. This photographic process avoids the need to write an image to film, allowing us to provide you with a superior output to digital image.
If the appropriate service is not requested we still make the changes necessary to provide the best end result.
